About Me

A writer at heart, a poet in theory

Hello, I'm Kim! A 24 year old trans woman currently living in Norfolk, England. My adoration for writing started back in my primary school years, as I found a passion in weaving narratives for others to read and enjoy.

So, what did I do with this passion?

Throughout primary and high school, I took every opportunity to flex my writing muscles in creative writing exercises, and the choice was obvious when it came to decide where to go next: I pursued a joint English Literature and Multimedia Journalism degree at University. In this course, I diversified my writing skills beyond simple essay writing and occasional short stories, learning how to craft narratives from non-fiction events, both from my own life in the English course, and from current events in the Journalism course.

Immediately after university, I took some time while working a part time job to decide my career path fully. I knew that my passions lay with writing, though I didn't have a full plan of how I would apply it through employment. Through different experiences, I finally decided on copywriting, as this is a highly varied environment that covers a variety of topics, something that speaks to my love of research.

And so, here I am!
