Game Blast Magazine

A 32-page magazine that was a third year assignment for

Multimedia Journalism which I decided early on I wanted to centre around video games. My initial idea was less focused and required some discussion with lecturers to focus it into the three-stage format I decided on in the end, going from game development to playing games and finally to e-sports.

From there I decided on the general page layout and the content of the magazine, deciding the subjects and topics I'd write about before carrying out the necessary research and interviews whilst sourcing or taking the pictures I needed. I aimed for a large variety of page layouts as I designed the magazine which made each page unique when combined with the articles I wrote for it.
