Marketing

Below is some of my marketing work with mYminiBreak, including web & product pages, mockup mailshots, SMS templates, booking messages, and more. These pieces of writing contribute to the overall customer journey from booking to check-out, and aim to retain, engage, and convert viewers to customers.

This is a Tier 2 page for one of our venues, "Go Wild Camping Glamping Thetford", and has become the format for our other existing Tier 2 venue pages. It includes CTA links at the top, information about nearby activities to increase location rankings, and a map to the venue. This page currently ranks 5th on Google for search "thetford forest camping"

One of our product pages, specifically for Caravan pitches at our flagship Hunstanton site. The target audience for caravans is generally young-to-middle-aged couples, and as such the first couple paragraphs focuses on nearby cultural attractions, bespoke shopping areas, and romantic moments couples can share on a caravan pitch, overall giving the vibe of a relaxing weekend away.

Following this is more formal information about site rules, pitch sizes, max occupants, and offered extras. The first section sells the customer on an idea of a holiday, while the second helps them make an informed decision with clearly laid-out expectations, both to drive a sale from the target audience.

Automated CRM Booking Message

This is one of the automated messages I wrote that we send to customers, in this case after they make the booking. I used this template across different booking agents, as well as in our internal system for customers that book direct.

Alongside this message, we also have messages closer to check-in that give directions and map links to the customer, as well as a review request system on the day of check-out which asks for a rating of 1-5 and, if the customer responds with a high score, sends them a link to a review page to get more positive reviews.

Dog Friendly Awards Mailshot

A mailshot we sent to customers when our sites were nominated for the Dog Friendly Awards that champion dog friendly venues in the UK. This mailshot was tailored to guests that visited with dogs, and encouraged them to click through the links provided and vote for us. This was then paired with a blog post and a Google Business update to maximize views and votes.

Moreover, this mailshot included links to book another holiday at the bottom to catch customers that may have wanted to book another holiday with us.
