Tarringe

The Tarringe is a creature most commonly found beneath the Earth’s crust and is one of the many creatures discovered after the devastating split that ravaged North America.

Like many other creatures found beneath the crust, the tarringe is primarily designed for burrowing. An adult can grow up to 7 feet and possesses sharp claws capable of cutting through solid rock. The tarringe, unlike surface-dwelling creatures, has no eyes or nose and instead uses sound and vibrations to navigate.

The tarringe has a thick hide which is most easily penetrated by other tarringes’ claws, however sharp manmade weaponry can pierce through so long as enough speed and force is exerted. Fortunately, the tarringe are mostly passive creatures, only attacking if either they or their homes are threatened.

UNUCEF recommends that Expeditioners avoid conflict with the tarringe if possible, or try using the creature to their advantage against the more violent creatures underneath the crust. Do NOT engage a tarringe if alone or uncertain if you can defeat it. If under attack or at risk of attack, retreat to nearest UNUCEF outpost for assistance.
