At 18, any theme is allowed, and films can include very strong violence, strong and very strong language, strong portrayals of sex, strong blood, gore & horror, and discriminatory language & behaviour. At 18 there are very few constraints on what can and can't be shown. The only circumstances where anything goes over an 18 is when it breaches criminal law, provide a detailed portrayal of violent acts or illegal drug use, or very explicit images of sexual activity.
