Preliminary Task

The subpages detail the process of creation during the preliminary task, the finished product, and the following evaluation. The creation stage involves a treatment and a storyboard, the reasons for which are detailed below. Overall, this preliminary task was more of a warm-up, as it is a far reduced and simplified version of the task set for the year that we will have to do.

Why the treatment is required

The treatment is there to show how we originally planned to use the props, and what uses they would have in the finished product. It is necessary because it shows our thought track in terms of props and settings, and helps to get our meaning across as to why we did what we did with the props we decided to use.

Why the storyboard is required

The storyboard shows our original thought track, and can be used to show in the evaluation how our finished piece differs from what we originally intended. It is necessary as a comparison, but also something to fall back on during filming to know where to go next and what to do in terms of filming.
