Casting Profile
The casting profile is a description of every main person involved in the music video (AKA the the main boy & girl and the band members).
Narrative

Ryan Boyd (Original Main Boy)
Ryan was originally going to take the role of the boy in the music video, however couldn't make the filming dates due to other commitments, and therefore we had to seek someone else for the main role. We initially decided upon Ryan as he was what we envisioned this role to look like and thought he was a good fit. Since he left the project, we had to find someone else who looked much the same in terms of both height and face, as we liked how his appearance was on camera.
Matthew Addis (Main Boy)
When Ryan was no longer able to help with the music video, we then decided to use Matthew as he has a similar build among other details. Matthew was a very good choice, as he acted incredibly natural on screen and had excellent chemistry with the main girl due to them being close friends. During filming, Matthew has acted very convincingly and delivered the performance that we wanted, understanding clearly what we were asking of him and delivering the proper mood to each scene.

Abbie Whiting (Main Girl)
Abbie is a member of our group (her website can be found here) who was chosen for this role due to us wanting a rather small girl to express vulnerability. The fact that she was chosen meant she had a very good idea of the team's vision and how to convey that through her acting. This alongside her aforementioned friendship with Matthew made her deliver well in front of the camera and give us effective and impactful footage to use in the music video.
Performance
Luke Ball (Singer/Acoustic Guitar)
Luke was used for the main singing and guitar playing segments of the performance aspect, and was very good in this role as he knows how to play guitar and performs regularly, therefore appeared and played naturally in front of the camera without looking awkward or uncomfortable, a pitfall which some videos we have seen fell in to. The fact that he could play along to the song also helped to match the audio and visuals and provide a far more convincing performance that would look good in the finished product.

Reece Peers-Holland (Singer/Bass Player)
Reece was originally intended to be the drummer in the video, however due to the person who meant to play bass not being able to show up for the performance filming day, Reece had to take over as bass player. Considering this change in role, Reece did it amazingly and looked entirely natural and convincing in front of the camera, and fit really well with the indie aesthetic style that we wanted.
